‘Victoria Smith is a photographic-artist born East Yorkshire (1999), currently based in West Yorkshire after graduating from Manchester School of Art. Smith’s eclectic practice utilises a range of digital and analogue techniques, to explore the essence of time, space, traces and memory. There is an ongoing reference within her work regarding the ontology of the photograph, and the roles in which the medium takes on within our world.’
Victoria Smith was selected to represent the UK for the EUNIC Photographic Residency in Bangkok (2019), supported by the British Council and French Embassy.

Victoria currently works with Museum Development North West and Curious Minds, as well as regularly volunteering in a number of roles across the Impressions Gallery and Saltaire Stories.
